Meistersingers is a select mixed choir which is open by audition to 10th, 11th & 12th grade students. It is a graded college prep course which meets daily (Period 1). Members are also required to participate in Symphonic Choir as well as additional performances throughout the year, such as the Bernard Kaplan Memorial Holiday Music Program at the MetLife Building in NYC and the NJACDA High School Festival. Auditions are held at the end of the school year for the following school year.
METLIFE TRIP INFO
Hey guys...Hope you are enjoying your day off! I just wanted to provide some basic information about that I would have covered in class today. Please take time to read the following.
1) I would like to perform the following songs tomorrow at the MetLife Building and around the city. Please review them today/tonight (with Rehearscore or Mp3 files) and memorize them. Especially look at the ones that we were planning on getting to today (in bold). I'll put the words for There is No Rose, Angels We Have Heard on High, and Jolly Old St. Nicholas on the Meistersingers Practice File page since most of you have your folders in school.

2) The following people MUST bring their fleece money to me tomorrow: Pete,
Nicole, Brandon, Brian, and Alex.
3) The dress tomorrow is your fleece (Vets please don't forget this at home) on top and jeans on the bottom. However, please bring a jacket/scarf/gloves/hat to keep you warm as we walk around NYC.
4) Please remember to bring money for Fuddrucker's (dinner) - approximately $10.
5) You will report to the choir room after Period 6. We will then leave immediately leave for New York. The sooner we can get everything together and leave on time, the more free time we have before we go to the MetLife building.
6) For your reference, here is the planned itinerary for the trip.
